How to Waive Rowan’s Insurance Plan

Here’s how to submit your waiver successfully:

1. Enroll in an approved plan

Choose a pre-approved policy like ISO and complete your enrollment online. You must show proof of active coverage, so you must purchase before submitting a waiver.

2. Obtain your insurance documents

After enrolling, you’ll receive your insurance ID card and a pre-filled waiver form.

3. Submit your waiver to Rowan

Upload your waiver form through Rowan’s online health insurance portal. Make sure your coverage dates match the university’s required period.

4. Wait for confirmation

Once your waiver is reviewed and accepted, the health insurance fee will be waived from your student account.

What is Rowan’s Fall Insurance Waiver Deadline?

Rowan University has set the waiver deadline for the 2025-26 school year as is September 22, 2025. You must have a plan active starting no later than August 1, 2025 and you must choose coverage for either Fall + Spring (10 months) or full annual-year coverage.

If you will only be enrolled for the Fall semester, you generally will still have to purchase for at least 10 months. Exceptions are only accepted if given explicit permission from Rowan University - and you would need to contact your insurance for a manual enrollment.
